Nicole (Smith) Rubin, Collaborator

We are lucky to have Nicole as a partner/collaborator. She is the founder and president of Customer Sense Consulting. Cynthia and Nicole have worked together for more than 20 years and partner on projects whenever possible.  

Nicole’s work is focused on improving the products, services or experiences clients are creating for their customers, by involving customers at the beginning of the process and including them all along the development cycle. She values her multifaceted role on projects as consultant, researcher, facilitator, and teacher.

She founded Customer Sense Consulting in 2002 and was very early to market with an approach to digital customer experience that valued the customers’ voice and balanced their needs with her clients’ business goals. Across the last 20+ years, Nicole’s practice expanded to include the customer experience for all product development and innovation efforts (digital and non-digital). 

Nicole’s clients count on her to bring a pragmatic approach to human centered design from research planning to wireframes. She has interviewed more than 6000 individuals and worked with most of the well-known retail and financial service brands that we rely on today.
